An Open Letter to our Friends in the Community:
This Primary Election season, we have the opportunity to elect a man who has supported and defended gay rights for as long as he has held public office.
That man is BILL BRADBURY.
We have known Bill both as an advocate and close friend for many years and proudly write this letter of support for his candidacy for Governor.
Bill stood with us when it wasn’t popular. He has the courage and conviction we will need as we move into a battle to bring MARRIAGE EQUALITY to all Oregonians.
Bill actively fought Measure 9 in 1992. He will fight with us again in 2012 as we work to overturn Measure 36. As Governor, he will encourage Oregonians to have the heart-felt conversations about why marriage and life-long commitment matter to this community.
Bill shares our core values and wears his integrity on his sleeve. He never has and never will compromise his principled stands in the name of political expediency.
When Bill makes a promise, he keeps it.
This May 18th in the Oregon Primary, Democrats have a clear choice to make. Let us move ahead toward the future. It is not the time to stand still.
When your ballot arrives, vote with both your heart and your head. Vote for Oregon’s future. Vote for BILL BRADBURY.
We are choosing to move ahead. We are choosing Bill.
